Crewe & Nantwich Talking Newspaper continues to provide the weekly newspaper and equipment to listen to it free of charge to our listeners.
None of our volunteers receive payment for the work that they undertake.
We do not receive external funding, raising our own funds or relying on the generosity of donations from organisations and individuals
Running CNTN costs several thousand pounds a year. So where does the money come from?
The Rotary Club of Crewe, who set up the talking newspaper in November 1977, is still a main contributor.
Two very generous legacies in 2008 boosted our funds and gave us a stable basis with which to continue our work.
There are also one-off donations from somebody wishing to say "Thank you" for something, or listeners leaving us a bequest in their Will.
